Lake Caddo Bateau

The boat designed by Wyatt Moore for Lake Caddo, Texas, is a good example of a simple boat construction. Two rectangular boards are merely twisted into a nice hull. This boat requires only a few tools and about five days to build. It is suitable for quiet waters.

Other related constructions are for instance the zille – a barge–like flat–bottomed boat for river sailing, and dory boats – rudder boats for sea fishing.
